Nola B.

Nola finds it rewarding to share the plight of the world’s poor and evoke in others a desire to make a difference—especially when that difference comes wrapped in the love of Jesus Christ. Meeting utterly impoverished people filled with faith and generosity, and the Christian men and women who selflessly minister to them, has changed Nola’s life forever. Originally from Alaska, “land of the midnight sun,” Nola currently resides in Florida, the Sunshine State.

Stephanie J.

Led by a desire to combine her newspaper experience and love of writing with Christian service to the poor overseas, Stephanie joined Cross International as a staff writer in June 2010. With a notebook in hand and a camera around her neck, she’s since journeyed to developing countries to gather beneficiary stories and photos from ministries supported by Cross.  Guided to Cross by God’s providential hand from her parent’s South Dakota cattle ranch, Stephanie is looking forward to years of fruitful service to the Lord and the poor as a staff writer.

Annie W.

Annie W.

Annie W.

Annie comes to Cross International after working as a newspaper and magazine journalist and serving nearly two years as a missionary teacher in Malawi. After living in Africa and taking a series of mission trips to Haiti, she prayed God would use her writing experience to serve the poor at home and abroad. She is thankful He answered that prayer through Cross, which allows her to report incredible stories of Christ’s love and provision every day. A native South Floridian, Annie is excited to relay stories from the field about the lives and work of Cross ministry partners around the world.
